AthleteBridge ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.
By using AthleteBridge, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Name, email address, and profile photo
- Phone number (for optional verification)
- Coach profile details: sport specialties, availability, experience, and hourly rate
- Payment handles (Venmo, PayPal) you choose to save
- Messages sent through the in-app chat
- Booking requests, confirmations, and history
- Reviews and ratings you submit
- Racket stringing orders and preferences
- Club membership and event registrations
Information collected automatically:
- Device identifiers and push notification tokens
- App usage data and crash reports
- General location (when you grant permission) to calculate distance to venues
- Calendar events (when you grant permission) to add confirmed bookings
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Connect athletes with coaches and enable booking
- Facilitate in-app messaging between users
- Send push notifications for bookings, messages, and club activity
- Process and display revenue summaries for coaches
- Manage club memberships and event registrations
- Provide racket stringing order management
- Improve and develop app features
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Sharing Your Information
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With other users: Your profile information (name, photo, sport, availability, rate) is visible to other users of the app as part of the coaching marketplace. Messages are visible to both parties in a conversation.
- With service providers: We use third-party services to operate the app (see Section 5). These providers only access your data to perform services on our behalf.
- For legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Third-Party Services
AthleteBridge uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you request account deletion, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.

7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information via your profile settings
- Delete your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for location, calendar, or notifications at any time via your device Settings
- Opt out of push notifications in iOS Settings → AthleteBridge → Notifications

8. Children's Privacy
AthleteBridge is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and secure cloud storage via Google Firebase. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
AthleteBridge offers optional monthly subscription plans for coaches (Coach Plus at $9.99/month and Coach Pro at $14.99/month). Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account within 24 hours prior to the renewal date.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or through the in-app "Manage Subscription" screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
